Taylor joins two Prince's Trust Teams at St James' Park,  August 2006

July 28th marked the end-of-team for a pair of Prince's Trust Teams supported by Newcastle United FC, and Magpie defender Steven Taylor came along to help celebrate.
16-25 year olds from Jarrow and Byker Teams stood before an audience of 80 people and confidently spoke of their experience on the 12-week course, which included work placements, a team-building residential week at Alston, a community project renovating gardens at Byker Hall Nursing, and fundraising for the Kenya Acorn Project.

Landmark 100 Teams for North East delivery partner Development Training

Development Training, The Trust's Team delivery partner for the Newcastle Area, has become only the third delivery partner in the county to achieve a landmark 100 Teams.
Over the last 10 years, Development Training has supported thousands of young people - motivating them to move on to employment, education or further training. The committed delivery partner's teams have helped their local communities and a number of other charities including the Kenya Acorn Project, The Bubble Foundation at the RVI and the National Trust.
