. The Prince's Trust Team Programme is a 12-week full time course, run by Development Training (NE Ltd) and offers the following: A Certificate in Personal, Teamwork and Community Skills NCFE drugs awareness (level 1) Food hygiene First aid Health & Safety risk assessment training Wider key skills
During the course, you will also have the opportunity to take part in: A one-week Team Building residential delivered by our partners BECKs Development Training, including outdoor activities, exciting team challenges and team tasks. A community project (a 2 week project to benefit your community) Work placement (an opportunity to try some work based skills, with an employer/ employment of interest to you) Update your CV and use on site job searching facilities
You will also be able to take part in a: Police Training Day, to assist Police trainees. An Army Training Day and visit Newcastle United FC on an organised ground tour. All dependant on attendance. There is also the opportunity to carry out a second residential towards the end of the programme, with the National Trust, be it in England, Scotland or Wales. Upon successful completion of the 12-week Prince's Trust Team Programme, you will be offered the opportunity to attend one of the following continuation courses: Prince's Trust European Project (a chance to get involved in some voluntary work overseas) Starting from Strengths (a continuation from the Team Programme) NVQ in Team Leading (a chance to gain a national qualification and experience the day to day working of Prince's Trust Team Leaders)
