Development Training are a major provider of the Prince's Trust Team Programme.
This 12 week full time programme is aimed at young people 16 to 25 from a wide variety of backgrounds and situations.

Development Training run around 15 of these teams per year and in January 2006, they celebrated a double milestone with their Team Programme:
The team based at Clyde House was the company's 100th Team to run and also 2006, Development Training celebrated 10 years as a Prince's Trust Provider and Delivery Partner.

Development Training were presented with a Special Award from Prince's Trust to mark these achievements.

In 2003 Development Training were selected as the best Prince's Trust Delivery Partner and received their Awards at a ceremony held at Tall Trees in Yarm. As a regional Winner Development Training then went on to the National Finals, where they finished as highly commended runners up. Second only to Stoke on Trent College.

In November 2006, Development Training again won a Regional Award, being selected for the Trusts Partnership Innovation Award. This recognised the work of Development Training over many years and particularly recognised recent success the Company has achieved.
Again Development Training were short listed for the National Finals held in the Barbican Centre in London. The Company finished as National Runners Up, second only to Marks and Spencer who were recognised for their National Scheme offering Work Placement opportunities to Prince's Trust Team Programmes.
